I want to port my old subscriber list to Potions. Can you do that?

If you have the list in a text file or CSV format, we will import it into our system for you.

How does potions produce authentic content if you're doing everything for me?

Great question!

First we pull in your website, blog, socials, brand assets, and other content you like in order to get a feeling for what your content should be like.

Then, if you'd like to produce original content, we'll also do a content interview with someone on your team and turn the transcript of that call into content for your newsletter.

Does Potions use AI?

We use AI and humans to build your newsletter efficiently; this is how we achieve our pricing.

Does Potions write original content?

We help you build original and authentic content for your newsletter via our content interview process. We will interview you or someone on your team and use the transcript of that call to generate content for your newsletter.

Or, if you'd like ghostwritten content, we can refer you to a partner who can help.

I don't have an email list already. Can you help?

Yes! We can help you leverage your existing CRM contacts or grow your list from scratch with paid growth.

We will also guide you on how you can organically grow your list.

I also need a service to grow my newsletter list: Can you help here?

We charge $2 per *engaged* subscriber we add to your list. These subscribers are in-demographic, with a minimum of $500 per month for this service.

Under our Power plan, we can also use platforms like Beehiiv to grow your list, however we can't guarantee engagement from these subscribers.

Does Potions use some other platform to build and send my newsletter? Do I need to pay for that other platform?

We will start on a platform of your choice. We have different recommendations depending on your business and audience.

We can also send the mail on your behalf using our own platform to minimize costs.

I'm nervous about the factual accuracy of AI-generated content. How do you protect against "hallucinations"?

We have a 3-stage quality assurance process that protects against "hallucinations" in the content (this is when AI makes up facts).

First we have a secondary model that checks for factual errors. Then, if a piece of content is flagged, a human expert examines it. Finally, we send the content to you for review.

How do you ensure the content is on-brand?

During our onboarding, our team will work with you to ensure our content is on-brand.

We also fine-tune our models to your pre-existing content to ensure that whatever we generate has the correct style for your brand.

If you don't already have content for us to train on, we'll use one of a few pre-made style guides.
