This is why our 19-step blog revamp SOP is so successful (which you can grab here):
1) We prioritize revamping blog posts that either 1) were proven to convert in the past or 2) are directly related to the product we want to promote.
2) We thoroughly reanalyze the SERP we want to rank on and list every reason the competitors' content is better. Then, we execute on making the content truly better (from a UX and value standpoint).
3) We make sure our client's product is plugged (with visuals) wherever it's relevant in the content.
Pro tip: Eventually, you'll cover most of the topics you need to generate a bunch of customers from search. This is when you should prioritize revamping old content over publishing new content.
♻️ Re-evaluate old content every 6-9 months.
